New FaceBook Page

We now have a business FaceBook Page, which reaches golfers outside of our club. Our normal FaceBook page Pleasant Point Golf Club (Members & Friends) is still active and a great source of information. Please also like our new page so we can continue to advertise our wonderful course and facilities to the wider golfing world.

We are using the expertise of a local social media and content creator, Karen Low (Her daughter, Charlotte is one our rising junior stars). Karen has set up the new FaceBook page and is doing an amazing job of advertising our golf course. She is also working on updating our Website. Please be patient as this is a work in progress. If there is any information, you as a member need and cannot find on the Website or at the Clubhouse, please don't hesitate to contact us via email or txt/phone

Available this Sunday 19th from 11am will be sandwiches, scones, filled croissants & slices. From 4pm there will also be hot food, chips, savouries and toasties plus the cold food above. We would encourage members to support this new business.

"Congratulations to Debbie Lovett for winning the Betty Newman trophy with the best aggregate score over 4 rounds during the Wednesday Ladies' Summer Golf competition. 

The ladies are celebrating the end of Summer Golf with their opening days. They are as follows....

Saturday 18 January - Saturday Ladies Opening day. 12pm start. Playing for the Henderson Trophy.  Only Saturday players are eligible for this trophy. 

Wednesday 22 January - Opening day for Wednesday ladies. 9.30 am start. Invite a visitor to play with. Playing for the Joan Gray trophy.  Bring food for a shared lunch.

Best wishes to all golfers, but especially our lovely ladies, for a super, fun filled 2025, on the best golf course in the Aorangi region.

Best wishes also go to all the volunteers who work tirelessly to enable all our golfing members to enjoy playing their golf."
